I want to thank you for the support and friendship, and to let you know how much it means to me to look out and see the faces in the audience. The smiles that my songs can bring, makes what I'm doing all worth while.

I always knew from a young age that I was here for a reason. Things haven't always been easy for me. I've had some hard roads to travel, but I never gave up or stopped dreaming. I felt if you want something you just have to work harder and find the right path, because God has one for all of us.

Thank you for coming on my path with me it should be a lot of fun. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here today. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the audience. Remember, never give up on your dreams, because dreams do come true.

Although she was born and raised in Southern California, Pamela has deep country roots. Her parents were childhood sweethearts in a small town in Oklahoma. Her father's family were rodeo stars and she grew up amidst the sights and sound of the country.

Pamela showed her talent for singing and writing songs when she was very young. At 14 she taught herself to play guitar using Bob Dylan song books.

From the start there were formidable obstacles in Pamela's way. Her parents would not sign a two year record contract from Columbia Records to write and perform her own music because of her age and the restrictions of the contract when she was 17.

She moved to Monterey where she sang and played in the clubs on Cannery Row. It looked like this would be the start of her career but she met her husband and moved with him to Idaho to settle down and start a family.

It was there, after a few more years, that she realized the music inside her was too powerful to ignore and it was off to the mountains of Northern California where she joined the band Ruckus. She and the band performed mostly covers with an occasional original song but the audience was mesmerized by Pamela's powerful voice and depth of feeling.

Finally things were where she wanted them to be? but there was still a feeling like she hadn't quite found her musical soul. When she started experimenting with country music her song writing, vocal style and talent came into full focus.

Over the years Pamela has faced obstacles both put upon her by others and obligation she could not ignore. She returned to her California mountain home with her young son, where she continued to write and perform.

A few years ago a moment of clarity told her that now was her time. Pamela, shed all her bindings, and has emerged as one of the hottest new country vocalists in Nashville today.
